About Humphrys

Humphrys Flag Company is one of the oldest manufacturers of flags in the United States.  The company traces its founding to 1805 in New York City.  In 1864 the company moved to Philadelphia, PA, establishing several locations throughout the City of Brotherly Love.

In the 1970's construction of the Gallery in Center City compelled Humphrys to leave our location on Filbert Street, finding a new home in Old City, Philadelphia, appropriately across the street from the Betsy Ross House.  Humphrys is proud to continue the tradition of our famous former neighbor.
