3×5' nylon national flag of Seychelles.
Seychelles has one of the most dynamic flags in the world. Five bands fan out from the lower hoist like rays, designed to show a young country moving into the future.
Design
Five oblique bands of blue, yellow, red, white and green, radiating from the lower hoist corner to the top and fly edges.
History & Symbolism
The flag was adopted on 18 June 1996, combining the colors of the country's main political parties. Blue stands for the sky and sea, yellow for the sun, red for the people and their will to work for the future in unity, white for social justice and harmony, and green for the land and natural environment.

Vexillographer's Note
Every band begins at a single point, the lower hoist corner. It is one of very few national flags built entirely from rays rather than stripes or fields.
